April President's Luncheon at Pizzicata Restaurant


Thirty-two members joined President Ken at Pizzicata restaurant in Glendale for the April president’s luncheon. The restaurant has a very warm atmosphere with a  small banquet room and piano bar to the left and a nicely appointed dining room  with another bar to the right. Separating the rooms is a large pizza oven and open kitchen where you can view chefs preparing your favorite Italian entrees.

Conversation and camaraderie was lively as everyone enjoyed their entrées from caponata  to calamari , various individual pizzas, pesto pasta, wild boar, lasagna, and all cuts of pastas homemade on site.

The  entire staff was welcoming and very proficient. It was a most enjoyable luncheon. Be sure to put Pizzicata on your short list of must visit Italian restaurants ... Photos: April Presidents Luncheon 2026

Putt 'n'Eat 2026

A Fun Outing on the Green!


The Italian American Club’s Putt ‘n’ Eat Event for 2026, held on Thursday, April 26th, was a great way to end our Spring Season.  Members enjoyed navigating challenging, fun and funky holes, that were set-up on the course.

We were blessed with a beautiful day to socialize and make new friends.

Following the game, members enjoyed lunch in the Chianti Room where each table was set with a golf theme centerpiece, and members received a golf “table favor” to take home.
 

There were eight categories for prize money and numerous players took home cash for their achievements. 


Many thanks to the Committee: Joan Fafoglia, Chairperson, as well as, Barb Mussman and Pat Hacker for their many hours of planning and executing the event and to Steve Fafoglia, Ken Hacker and Jeff Smidt who assisted with the strategic set-up of the course.


A special thanks to Ken Hahn who assisted in the design of the course.

Our two sets of Aperivitos for the Winter and Spring months are now behind us.

“FUN WATCHING BASEBALL”
at a Goodyear Ballpark Spring League Game

 

Nothing is more fun, and more American, than going to a baseball game and having a chance to “play” along with the pros! That was what the members of the Pebblecreek Italian American Club did on an unusually warm night in March. 

While the pros were on the field playing their game, PCIAC members were on the Party Patio simultaneously playing a lively card game called “Fun Watching Baseball” ... More

About Us:

The PebbleCreek Italian American Club provides an opportunity for any and all community residents to learn about Italian traditions, history and customs.

   

Many Italian traditions and customs are learned and experienced through planned social activities and functions throughout the year. Highlighted by our annual “must attend event, the Poinsettia Ball held in early December. Our monthly meetings consist of a short business meeting followed by an “After Social” where members get together for the purpose of visiting with each other and, at the same time, enjoying some wine, dessert and coffee in a relaxed environment.

Events:

The PCIAC Events and Communications Committees proudly announce these calendar events for our coming year. The events are made public on a rolling 90-day basis to help with your calendar planning. The goal is to make these events fun, and at the same time, create interest and increase participation from our General Membership.
